JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for a proactive and organised PA & Operations Assistant to support the Director of Social Care Skills and DS Wellbeing & Development Network. This is a varied and rewarding role that blends PA responsibilities with admin, finance, and event support, all within the context of social care and social sciences training.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong admin, organisational, and finance skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, Teams and bookkeeping software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
  • A clear Enhanced DBS check is required (we will arrange this if not already held).
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage emails, calendars, and calls for the Director.
  • Register course participants, prepare certificates, and support trainers.
  • Host online seminars (Teams/Zoom) and provide live event support.
  • Maintain bookkeeping records, chase payments, and prepare simple financial reports.
  • Keep digital files, policies, and provider records organised and inspection-ready.
  • Monitor deadlines and provide operational/HR support for trainers and contracts.
