WE ARE SEEKING A DEDICATED NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP) OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (PA) TO JOIN OUR SKULL BASE & CRANIAL NEUROSURGERY TEAM. THIS ROLE PROVIDES OUTPATIENT CARE AND CLINICAL SUPPORT FOR THREE SPECIALIZED SKULL BASE NEUROSURGEONS, MANAGING COMPLEX NEUROSURGICAL PATIENTS WITH CONDITIONS SUCH AS MENINGIOMAS, ACOUSTIC NEUROMAS, PITUITARY TUMORS, AND COMPLEX CRANIAL PATHOLOGY.
Hours: Monday-Friday Five 8-hour shifts

Position Specifics: The APP will play a key role in patient evaluation, pre-operative and post-operative management, and long-term follow-up while working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgeons, otolaryngologists, radiation oncologists, and neuro-oncology specialists.

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct comprehensive outpatient evaluations, including history-taking, physical exams, and assessment of neurosurgical patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with attending neurosurgeons.
- Provide pre-operative counseling and post-operative follow-up care, including wound checks, imaging review, and symptom management.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other relevant studies.
- Assist in the coordination of multidisciplinary care, including referrals to neuro-oncology, endocrinology, audiology, radiation oncology, and other specialties as needed.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, post-operative expectations, and recovery milestones.
