UPMC PRESBYTERIAN IS SEEKING A DEDICATED INPATIENT ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) TO JOIN OUR ELECTIVE SPINE SERVICE.
Hours: Monday-Friday - four 10-hour shifts - 6:00am-4:00pm
Location: UPMC Presbyterian
Position Specifics: This position will be responsible for managing inpatient floor-level and select emergency department (ED) patients, working alongside a large, multidisciplinary team that includes 16 APPs and 28 residents. The APP will have autonomous management of a designated patient population while collaborating closely with a team of neurosurgery attendings, residents, and APPs.
Department Details: The Elective Spine Service covers a wide range of simple and complex spine procedures, with cases from six attending neurosurgeons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a high-volume, academic medical center with a strong emphasis on collaborative care and professional growth.
