PA/QA Engineer (Space Industry) Location: Wrocław, Poland (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Space Technology / Aerospace About the Opportunity Join a fast-growing European space technology company developing advanced optical systems and satellite solutions for international customers. As a PA/QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of products throughout the entire project lifecycle. Working closely with engineering, project management, customers, and suppliers, you will help deliver high-quality hardware that meets demanding aerospace and space industry standards. Key Responsibilities Lead Product Assurance (PA) and Quality Assurance (QA) activities throughout project execution. Prepare and maintain Product Assurance Plans based on project and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer expectations, and applicable industry standards throughout the project lifecycle. Support project milestone reviews, Mandatory Inspection Points (MIPs), hardware inspections, and test readiness activities. Monitor and coordinate project risk management activities. Participate in project reviews, supplier audits, and configuration management processes. Ensure proper document control, including document releases, revisions, and configuration status. Prepare and communicate PA/QA status reports to internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to identify quality risks and implement corrective actions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of PA/QA processes and best practices. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline. Professional experience in Product Assurance (PA), Quality Assurance (QA), or quality engineering, ideally within the space, aerospace, or other high-tech industries. Practical knowledge of at least one of the following disciplines: Electronics Mechanical Engineering Optics Understanding of EEE components, Materials & Processes (M&P), or product reliability principles. Familiarity with ECSS standards is considered a strong advantage. Experience participating in project reviews, inspections, audits, or quality documentation activities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with confidence presenting information in an international environment. Nice to Have Experience in the space or satellite industry. Knowledge of configuration management processes. Experience with supplier quality management and audits. Familiarity with risk management methodologies. Experience supporting environmental or qualification testing of hardware. Project management or team coordination experience.
