Role description: We are seeking an Interface Manager to lead the identification, documentation, and resolution of project interfaces across various packages in rail and transit infrastructure projects. This role involves maintaining interface control documents and schedules, coordinating with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders, facilitating workshops and meetings, monitoring and mitigating interface risks, supporting change management, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and providing regular status reporting to project leadership. This role sits in our Mobility Global Business Area (GBA). We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today's mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world's growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods. Role accountabilities: Lead the identification, documentation, and resolution of interfaces between various project packages (civil, systems, stations, track, signaling, etc.). Develop and maintain interface control documents, matrices, and schedules to ensure alignment across all disciplines and stakeholders. Coordinate with internal design teams, contractors, client representatives, and third parties to manage technical and delivery interfaces. Facilitate interface workshops, design coordination meetings, and issue resolution sessions. Monitor interface risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or scope conflicts. Support change management processes related to interface impacts. Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulatory frameworks. Provide regular reporting on interface status, risks, and actions to project leadership. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in rail and transit infrastructure projects, with a focus on interface management or multidisciplinary coordination. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. P.Eng. license in Ontario is preferred; candidates must be eligible to obtain licensure. Strong understanding of transit systems, infrastructure delivery, and stakeholder environments. Experience working on large-scale transit projects (e.g., LRT, subway, commuter rail). Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency in interface management tools, project scheduling software, and document control systems. The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $178,000. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role
