Job Description: Parsons are seeking a highly experienced Package Manager to oversee the management of designated packages within large-scale landscape and road infrastructure projects. This role requires expertise in package planning, execution, cost control, schedule adherence, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience, including managing complex infrastructure project packages from design through construction and handover. The Package Manager will ensure each package meets quality, safety, budget, and schedule objectives, contributing to the overall project success. What You’ll Be Doing: Develop detailed execution plans for assigned packages, including scope, schedule, resources, and risk management. Coordinate design, procurement, and construction activities within the package. Monitor package performance and ensure timely delivery in alignment with overall project objectives. Track package budgets, expenditures, and forecasts. Monitor schedule adherence, identify delays, and implement recovery actions. Ensure compliance with project controls, reporting standards, and cost management systems. Ensure that all package activities comply with design specifications, quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to verify adherence to requirements. Implement corrective actions to address deviations promptly. Serve as the primary interface for package-related stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and clients. Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide visibility on package performance. Facilitate meetings, issue resolution, and decision-making at package level. Identify risks and issues within the package and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain a risk register and escalate critical matters to project leadership. Ensure lessons learned and best practices are captured for continuous improvement. Lead, coordinate, and motivate package teams, ensuring collaboration and accountability. Support skill development and knowledge sharing within the team. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and high performance. What Required Skills You’ll Bring; Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 15+ years in package management or project management for infrastructure projects, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. Strong expertise in project execution, cost control, schedule management, and risk mitigation. Proficiency in project management and controls tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI). Knowledge of construction processes, design requirements, and contract standards (FIDIC or equivalent). Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Desired Skills You’ll Bring: Professional certifications: PMP, RMP, or equivalent. Experience managing multi-phase, multi-package landscape and road projects. Familiarity with digital reporting, dashboards, and analytics tools. Ability to drive package-level improvements and operational efficiency.
