Objective of the position: Assist/Keep communication with PFEP team on all related with the kanban per serial changes.

  • Request Process Engineers support for lineside space to per serial-kanban changes.
  • Create Continuous Improvement ideas to optimize and sustain PFEP Processes.

The Packaging Engineer is responsible for ensuring the work standards and the correct tools definition required to build our product, assuring safety in the operation, quality in the station and on-time delivery based on production rate.
Is also responsible of analyzing the engineering changes applied to the product and assure the readiness of the tooling and process on the productive areas to receive such as changes, always in compliance with safety, environment.

Main Functions:

  • Support the analysis of packaging change request and coordinate timely fashion execution with PFEP team.
  • Support the analysis of Changeover and Kan Ban, CIW, Paint and Preseries, to coordinate the correct assignment and supply of new parts.
  • Support the analysis of PFEP database and coordinate with PFEP Team timely fashion execution of changes between warehouses and supermarkets
  • Support improving the PFEP Processes to make sure the ideal supply cluster is defined for every part number in Santiago TMP.
  • Support the PFEP and Logistics Change Over process according to specific requests of the manager of the area.
