WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Hand to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for performing a range of packaging tasks—both manual and machine-operated—to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
Reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, your focus will be on achieving daily production targets while adhering to strict food safety guidelines and operational procedures.

FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with all regulatory and food safety requirements (Food Standards Code, Food Act 2003, Food Regulation NSW 2010, Salumi Australia Food Safety Program).
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a hygienic and safe condition, so as to avoid cross contamination of raw food stuffs with ready to eat food stuffs
• Perform daily cleaning of work areas, tools, and packaging equipment to meet the highest sanitation standards in line with the Cleaning Policy.
• Proactively follow Good Manufacturing Practices by carrying out and adhering to all company guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, Food Safety Program/HACCP.
