We are located in Northeast Dallas, in a state of the art 70,000 square foot facility with multiple new Amada CNC Laser and Punch machines, new Amada Press Brakes, CNC spinning machines, automated deburring, laser etching machines, tube bending and multiple welding stations. We are seeking a Packing Associate to join our team in ensuring that our products are prepared and shipped with the utmost care and accuracy to our diverse customer base, ranging from OEM manufacturers, distributors, shops, to everyday consumers.  Position Overview: As a Packing Associate at Miller CAT, you will play a crucial role in the final stages of our product journey. You will be responsible for packaging and preparing sheet metal parts for shipment, ensuring they reach our customers in perfect condition. Key Responsibilities * Carefully package sheet metal parts according to provided specifications, including protection against scratches, dents, or other damage. * Inspect the quality of each product before packaging to maintain our high standards. * Organize and label packages accurately to facilitate efficient shipping and delivery. * Assist in maintaining an organized and clean packing area. * Collaborate with the fulfillment team to ensure timely and accurate order processing. * Handle materials and tools safely and according to company guidelines. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Prior experience in packaging or fulfillment, preferably with sheet metal or similar products. 1 year of relevant experience is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. * Ability to lift and handle sheet metal parts and materials, some of which may be heavy. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * A teamwork mindset and the willingness to collaborate with colleagues. * Willingness to follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
