Job Summary: The Packaging Associate is responsible for using the packaging monitors to ensure the correct part is packaged correctly in the correct manner, quantity and quality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent desirable.
  • 3 months of packaging work experience preferred.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • None

Duties and Responsibilities: Will include, but not limited to:

  • Utilize Packaging monitors to call up the part detail & instructions for the parts identified on the Picking/Consolidation Sheet.
  • Package the Cooling product.
  • Follow the Cooling product packaging work instructions.
  • Properly palletize product, move pallets and crates.
  • Conduct and assists with periodic physical inventory audits.
  • Identify and research inventory discrepancies and corrects errors in SAGE.
  • Monitor and Maintain Inventory accuracy.
  • Interfacing with inventory manager, Quality and Operations on a regular basis.
  • Perform good housekeeping duties in and around the work area.
  • Support the organization’s metric goals and objectives.
  • Abide by all procedures, policies, and work instructions.
  • Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures.
  • Provide input to organize inventory, assign/re-assign locations for control of inventory.
  • Transfer parts and materials, physically or in SAGE.
  • Verify parts and materials, check quality acceptance, check for damage, correct part numbers.
  • When required, assist with picking, put away, receiving, and other warehouse functions.
  • Complies with applicable safety standards, regulations, and PPE requirements.
  • Report all safety, inventory, and quality issues to supervisor.
