The key purpose of this role is to provide specialized electrical artisan skill and knowledge to the shift team, and to support the operations, maintenance of the Packaging Line and to perform and assist in problem-solving. Key roles and responsibilities: Comply with and maintain a safe, healthy, risk-free working environment and follow environmental procedures and legislation Perform maintenance, plan and prepare the job, carry out repairs and maintenance Operate and maintain all machines & associated devices in the Packaging process Optimise plant, process equipment & systems Ensure that maintenance tasks are completed appropriately Standby duty required as per roster Maintain safety and housekeeping standards Identification of unsafe practices through SIO's Conduct safety inspections and audit safe maintenance practices Adherence to PPE policies Operate workshop equipment Communicate effectively in teams and contribute to self and team development Backlog, generate tags for follow on work and Satisfied customers - no rework Key attributes and competencies: Management skills People handling ability Minimum requirements: Trade Tested N3 Electrical Electrical artisan - Trade Tested Electrical trade coupled with C&A Qualified, trade-tested mechanical artisan with N4 to N6 qualification.
