Job Description The Packaging Engineer is responsible for assisting in release and support the internal requirement and the customer. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Packaging Engineer to join our team in Aguascalientes, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing packaging solutions for our products, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards. Design and develop innovative packaging solutions using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Conduct material selection and testing to ensure packaging meets performance requirements. Analyze and optimize packaging costs while maintaining quality and functionality. Manage packaging projects from concept to implementation, adhering to timelines and budgets. Ensure compliance with packaging regulations and standards, both local and international. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, and logistics. Implement sustainable packaging practices to reduce environmental impact. Troubleshoot packaging-related issues and develop effective solutions. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in packaging engineering. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in packaging engineering or related field. Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of packaging design, development, and material selection. Experience with cost analysis and optimization in packaging projects. Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Thorough understanding of packaging regulations and standards. Familiarity with sustainable packaging practices. Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Certified Packaging Professional (CPP) certification is preferred. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
