Role and Responsibilities · Lead and supervise a team of packaging associates. · Provide guidance, training, and support to team members. · Ensure that the team meets production goals and quality standards. · Collaborate with production planning teams to schedule packaging activities based on production requirements. · Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets. · Implement and enforce quality control procedures for packaging processes. · Monitor packaging lines to ensure products meet quality standards. · Address any issues related to packaging quality promptly. · Oversee the operation and maintenance of packaging machinery. · Coordinate with maintenance staff to address equipment issues and schedule preventive maintenance. · Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including production volumes, downtime, and quality control measures. · Generate reports for management on packaging performance and efficiency. · Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. · Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to packaging and labeling. · Communicate regularly with other department leads and managers to ensure smooth coordination of production activities. · Address any issues or concerns raised by team members. Requirements Qualifications and Education Requirements 4 or more years of experience. Preferred Skills · Combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and attention to detail to ensure the efficient and effective packaging of products.
