Description

Job Purpose Oversee assigned production line(s) in the manufacturing and packaging of product. Lead line workers to maximize productivity and quality, acting as a liaison between the production supervisors and production staff. Essential Functions • Direct and assign work to employees within their specific area/line as needed to reach daily production targets • Ensure all required documentation is present and completed • Monitor equipment and notify Production Shift Supervisor and Maintenance of any equipment issues or problems impacting production • Train and coach new and existing employees • Maintain safe working conditions • Assist with supervisory duties as needed • Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of products manufactured in the facility • Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies) • High School diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment and/or food industry • Production and packaging equipment and process experience • Demonstrated leadership skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment • Self-directed and capable of working without close supervision California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Washington, and New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $22.62 to 27.00 per hour. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
