We are currently seeking a candidate for the 3rd Shift Packaging Machine Operator role in our Marshall, TX facility. JOB SUMMARY The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for working in a safe, efficient manner to maximize hands-on production and shipping of wood shavings. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1. SAFETY * Attend monthly safety meetings * Wear PPE as required * Attend trainings as needed and complete required testing with sufficient results 2. PRODUCTION * Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner producing packaged materials for AWF customers * Confers with shift supervisor and follows through with assigned work duties * Assist with cleaning up work area * Place an empty bag on the fill tube, seal, place in master pack, and hand palletize (up to 40 lbs.) 3. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES * Perform outside duties to include sweeping, picking up debris, watering flowers and shrubbery, shoveling snow, and deicing walkways as required 4.
