Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As a Packaging Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are packaged to the highest standards. Working within our Edinburgh production site, you will be responsible for labelling and boxing products as well as performing quality control checks and contributing to a smooth production process.
The role is full-time working Monday to Friday 09:30-17:30 with 1 hour lunch and regular breaks.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Labelling and boxing product including compliance labelling, bottle labelling and boxing.
  • Assist in packaging machinery operation and other related tasks including setup and changeover of packaging lines by assisting with adjustments and settings for different bottle sizes or packaging formats, ensuring the smooth transition between different product runs.
  • Conduct routine cleaning by performing regular hygiene tasks, which helps prevent contamination and ensures the site operates at optimal performance levels.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals by assisting colleagues and following instructions, helping to achieve set packaging targets within scheduled timeframes.
  • Report safety hazards and production issues to supervisors by promptly identifying and communicating risks or equipment malfunctions, minimising downtime and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Comply with all company quality standards.
