A global leader in business and technology services. Title: Packaging Operator 1 / Product Assistant (Manufacturing Tech 1) Location: St. Louis, MO (100% onsite) Pay Rate: $21/hr + 7% shift differential Duration: 12+ Months Contract Type: Contingent Shift: Training: 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) for 2–3 months Permanent: 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), Mon–Fri Core Responsibilities The worker will support regulated manufacturing and packaging operations, including: Operating production and packaging equipment (CIP, COP, label lines, torque machines) Assembly-line troubleshooting and setup Manual and automated packaging of bottles, bags, and components Cleaning activities (routine + monthly phenolic cleaning) Executing batch records in SAP (eBR) Documentation in logbooks and production records Handling materials, bottles, and inventory transfer to Class 100 clean room Waste disposal and strict housekeeping Compliance with safety, PPE, and GMP procedures Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves) ✔ High School Diploma or equivalent ✔ Manufacturing / production environment experience ✔ SAP experience (batch records, documentation preferred) ✔ Mechanical aptitude & assembly-line troubleshooting ✔ Comfortable with physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs) ✔ Pallet jack experience ✔ Strong punctuality & attendance ✔ Stable work history (no frequent job hopping) ✔ Able to wear PPE & respirator for extended periods ✔ Clean-shaven (respirator requirement) ✔ Steel-toed shoes (required) Physical & Compliance Requirements Pre-employment physical exam required PPE & respirator use (EHS-defined) Exposure to chemicals Onsite interviews only No forklift operation require Ideal Candidate Profile (For Screening) Best fit candidates typically come from: Chemical manufacturing Pharmaceutical or biotech production GMP-regulated packaging or cleanroom environments Manufacturing technician / production operator backgrounds (not warehouse pick/pack) Screening Checklist (Recommended) Use this before submission: ✔ Willing to train on 1st shift, then move to 2nd shift ✔ Hands-on manufacturing (not warehouse-only) ✔ SAP usage (even basic eBR/logbook exposure) ✔ Comfortable with PPE, respirator, and cleanroom rules ✔ Stable employment history (longevity matters here) ✔ Can pass physical & comply with grooming requirements Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
