Set up of machinery (includes computerized equipment) Changeover of machinery Operation of machinery Upkeep of tool shadow boards and changeover carts Quality checks of machine operations and materials Cleaning of work area Attend team meetings when required Must follow “Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMP’s) Ensure SQCDPE targets are met by understanding and goal setting of KPI’s Filling out paperwork accurately Ensure product codes are correct Other duties as assigned What you’ll need to be successful. Grade 12 or GED Must be able to work shifts on a rotating basis Knowledge of computer operations an asset Experience with packaging machinery desirable Must be mechanically inclined and able to withstand heavy lifting (up to 30 lbs. unassisted) Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to respond to unexpected circumstances calmly and responsibly Ability to accept and embrace change in the day-to-day operations Successful completion of training period Must be willing to cross-train on other packaging equipment About McCain Click Here to learn more about McCain and how we provide you with opportunities to make an impact that matters. Compensation Package: - Starting at 22.24 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
