Job Summary:   Production Worker As a Production worker you will have several opportunities to work in different areas of the plant to operate equipment. Since 1938, we have been producing high quality products for you and your family.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities    * Clean, set-up, operate and monitor equipment of the production line  * Perform cleanings during set down times and product changeovers * Load/unload stacks and moves items as assigned * Sort, bundle and fill containers or place in assembled units * Mark or place identifying labels on product loads, ensuring that all finished products are coded properly * Record movement of stock in and out of work areas * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties   * Monitor materials, products and equipment at each step of the process and reports irregularities to supervisor * Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiency * Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format * Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes * Follow Good Manufacturing Practices * Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc. * Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately   * Other duties assigned or required   Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
