A global leader in business and technology services. Role: Packaging Operator Location: St. Louis, MO Shift: 3rd Shift – Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM (4 x 10 schedule) Training Schedule: 1st Shift – Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM for 2–3 months Type: Contract (Temp-to-Perm potential) Pay Rate: $23/hr + 15% Shift Differential Interview: In-person Interview Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician 2 / Packaging Operator to support manufacturing and packaging operations in a production environment. This role involves operating processing equipment, maintaining clean room standards, executing production procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain production and processing equipment including: COP (Clean Out of Place) CIP (Clean In Place) Kaps All Torquer Label line equipment Perform routine manufacturing and packaging operations Execute batch records using SAP (eBR) Conduct room cleaning and monthly phenolic cleaning procedures Handle waste disposal and manual cleaning of small parts Pull bottles from inventory and transfer materials into Class 100 clean room Perform hand torque and torque testing Apply pinch clamps and package bags/bottles Maintain accurate production documentation and log books Monitor equipment/process status and report deviations to supervisors Follow GMP, safety, and production procedures at all times Properly use, clean, and store PPE equipment Maintain housekeeping standards in production areas Participate in safety and quality training programs Required Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Skills & Experience Basic computer knowledge, preferably SAP Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Good verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Physical & Work Environment Requirements Manufacturing/production environment Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs occasionally Must be able to work extended shifts including nights Ability to wear PPE, including respirators, for extended periods About Trident Consulting Trident Consulting is an award-winning staffing and consulting firm headquartered in San Ramon, CA.
