Primary Roles and Responsibilities Oversee daily operations within the Pull Tab processing and packaging department, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met. Lead and support a team of approximately 20–30 production employees responsible for packaging and processing pull tab products. Coordinate production workflows across multiple packaging lines and high-volume SKU-based product runs. Provide hands-on leadership on the production floor by troubleshooting operational issues, supporting line efficiency, and ensuring teams stay on schedule. Monitor packaging quality, product counts, labeling, and finished goods to ensure accuracy and compliance with production standards. Train and develop team members while reinforcing safety procedures, quality expectations, and company policies. Work closely with production planning, quality, and maintenance teams to address production challenges and maintain consistent throughput. Track production performance, downtime, and efficiency to help identify areas for improvement. Support continuous improvement efforts related to packaging workflows, line efficiency, and overall production output. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety within the production environment. Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements Experience and Education High school diploma or equivalent required. 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, printing, or paper production environment. Previous experience leading or supervising teams in a production or packaging environment preferred. Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments with multiple SKUs or product variations. Exposure to print, paper converting, packaging, or similar production processes is highly preferred. Strong ability to work on the production floor supporting teams, resolving issues, and maintaining workflow. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and production reporting systems. Preferred Experience in paper converting, printing, packaging, or consumer product manufacturing. Exposure to production scheduling, line balancing, or packaging operations. Experience working in high-mix / high-volume manufacturing environments. Prior experience leading shift-based production teams. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and production environment. Position requires time on the production floor supervising teams and monitoring packaging lines. May require standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and working near operating machinery. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required depending on production schedules.
