The Opportunity In this role, you will provide technical packaging expertise to support the transition to alternate packaging materials across our manufacturing network. Working closely with a Project Manager and Quality representative, you’ll ensure packaging changes are compliant, fit for purpose, and successfully implemented across operations and supply chain. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role playing a key part in delivering packaging change within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Provide technical packaging support for supplier transition and packaging change initiatives Develop and maintain packaging specifications, die-lines, and technical requirements Support packaging artwork development, review, and approval processes Ensure GS1 compliance across all packaging formats Support packaging procurement activities, including tenders and supplier evaluation Assess packaging suitability for manufacturing line capability and operational requirements Support packaging code creation and product description setup in systems What you’ll bring Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in packaging, FMCG manufacturing, or related field 5+ years’ experience in packaging development, engineering, or technical packaging roles Strong knowledge of packaging materials, conversion processes, and sustainability considerations Experience with packaging specifications, artwork processes, and GS1 requirements Understanding of manufacturing environments and packaging line performance High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy Strong communication skills across technical and operational stakeholders Why Noumi?
