Grow with us. -Position:Packer -Shift: 6:30am to 2:30pm -Pay: $17.25/hour In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate needs the following:Production, Warehouse, General Labor, Order Picker, Quality Control,Material Handler, Fulfillment, Inbound, Outbound, Loader/Unloader, Shipping, Receiving, Packing, Picking. Aminimum of (1) one year's experience in the following: -Order Fulfillment as an Order Picker and Packer - to include cross-trained skills across multiple departments - inbound, outbound, auto store, domestic and international shipping, receiving. -Preparing product for safe shipment and verifying accuracy utilizing using computer, shipping label and/or packing list. -Experience safely operating an Electric Pallet Jack and RF Scan Gun, or willingness to be trained to use this equipment, is required. -Able to stand for extended periods of time. The position will require standing for up to 90% of the shift. -Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Shape your world. Role Purpose: Responsible for the safe, secure, and accurate packaging of customer orders. Key Accountabilities: Efficiently pack customer orders ensuring the correct number and product is loaded and shipped. Verify that the entire order picked matches the packing slip. Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing manual material handling equipment. Repack and weigh orders that require special handling. Select applicable packaging (box/container) for the order. Insert applicable packaging material, construct and seal once completed. Affix packaging label to the outside of the package. Assist in physical inventories.
