Job Introduction
Packer - Early shift - £13.48 per hour equivalent
Monday – Friday 5.30am – 2.00pm with every other Friday off (36 hour week) - £25,238 salary (£13.48 hourly equivalent), Yes, we work a 9 day fortnight!

Responsibilities

This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Pack product to the highest quality standard, compliant to regulatory dossier and in accordance with the current GMP guidelines and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Packing batch documents and comply with their individual responsibilities to GMP
  • Attend and comply with any in house training or on the job training.
  • To ensure the efficient and safe use of machinery and equipment
  • To keep strictly to Packing methods as laid down in the documentation and raise any issues or errors to the Line Lead, Packing Specialist and/or the Shift Manager.
  • To ensure all equipment is clean and maintained in good working order and where deficiencies are found informing the Line Lead, Packing Specialist and/or the Shift Manager.
  • Achieve the highest standards of housekeeping, Cleanliness and Personal Hygiene within the department.
  • To notify the Line Lead, Packing Specialist and/or the Shift Manager, as a matter of urgency, if there has been any serious failure of safety or GMP which could affect staff safety or product quality.
