Requirements Description of Role: Under the supervision of the Packing Supervisor, is responsible for assembling, packing, and organizing meals and complements for delivery to home-delivered meal consumers. Required Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working in a food service or production facility preferred. Job Requirements: a. Assembles and packages meals and complements for delivery to home-delivered meal consumers. b. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. c. Assists with transporting meals to and from storage areas. d. Assists with organizing meals according to delivery routes. e. Assists drivers with loading and unloading meals as required. f. Performs other duties as assigned. Professional Characteristics: Basic math and reading skills. Ability to take direction in English. Ability to lift 20 pounds, and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to work well with others. Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and safety practices a plus. Additional Requirements: 1. Performs consistently in all aspects of work assignments. 2. Maintains good attendance record.
