LEE associates are offered the opportunity to learn and grow in their career. SUMMARY Packing furniture based on the customers' orders and production schedule. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Pack furniture for shipment * Keep a clean and safe working environment. * Shrink wrap, build trays, carton furniture. * Pull all required materials in each package. * Scan tickets for accurate shipment tracking * All other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES * Previous warehouse or shipping experience is a plus. * Furniture manufacturing knowledge is a plus. * AS400 and basic computer skills MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Good communication skills * Ability to work full time. * Able to work with other associates on a team production incentive. * Able to work in a fast-paced team environment. EFFORT * Product may weigh up to 300 pounds. Moving and lifting of these products will involve assistance from other associates and/or lifting equipment. * Lifting product from floor to buggy and buggy to tray * Lifting up to 50 lbs. * Able to use equipment such as electric pallet jack, hand trucks/dollies & heat gun for shrink wrapping.
