We are actively recruiting an energetic, high-potential Packing Associate to join our growing team. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team. As Packing Associate, you will be responsible for packaging goods according to specifications and quality requirements to prepare items for shipment. This is a full time, first shift position. Responsibilities of the Packing Associate Include: Counts, measures, and weighs materials and products. Constructs, lines, and pads cartons, crates, and containers as appropriate to package products for shipping. Examines containers, products, and materials for quality control and ensures packing requirements are met. Enters packing, order, and product information in or on required forms, records, or other documents. Transports packages to loading areas or other specified zones. Track, trace and update the status of outgoing shipments. Coordinate and provide support to other departments to resolve shipping and packaging issues. Desired Experience: 1-3+ years related packing or shipping experience General computer knowledge, willingness and ability to learn new programs Attention to detail and quality; able to key data accurately Candidates must be able to read and interpret work instructions in English, possess effective communication skills, and a professional demeanor. You should be punctual and reliable as this is a very important support position. The position requires the ability to lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
