We are looking to expand our packing department and inviting candidates with experience at leading teams. Experience of a production/manufacturing environment would be great but is not required as full training on all the equipment will be provided.

Minimum of 1 year team leading experience (3 or more people)
Own transport
Computer literate
Good communication skills with excellent English
Salary: £28080pa (£13.50ph)

JOB PURPOSE:

Working as a team, with colleagues, to complete packing tasks in a timely manner whilst ensuring the quality of the product and the safety of yourself and co-workers is not compromised.

MAIN DUTIES:

Lead packing campaigns ensuring maximum efficiency and minimum wastage
Ensure production down-time is minimised by reporting problems promptly
Ensure the quality standards for the product are maintained
Ensure the safety information for the product is understood before by all staff on the task before starting.
Report and record campaign information, issues and resolutions on IT EPR system

OTHER DUTIES:

Complete tasks on the production line including making boxes, putting bottles onto the production line, labelling, capping or stacking pallets as required
Undertake training to improve skills (competence) and increase Grade
Ensure that at all times general housekeeping is kept to a high standard
Rotating Shifts 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm Mon-Fri
