GENERAL ACTIVITIES:

Work safely and develop save working methods in line with the organisation’s health and safety policy and maintain a safe working environment.
The cleaning and packing of finished goods for shipping in a heavy industrial work environment.
Operation of forklift trucks for moving and loading products. Attention to details for final inspection of products before shipping.
Support and work within the lean principles of the organisation. Support the production manager and value stream lead in driving lean principles in the organisation.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Having awareness of safety and health issues.
• Experience of packing of products for shipping.
• Counterbalance FLT experience.
• Having good communication skills.
• Inspect products for quality control.
• Experience of working with LEAN principles. (5s etc)
• Experience in an assembly work environment.
