We are looking for a PACS Administrator to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia, on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. In this role, you will manage and support imaging systems, including X-ray technologies, ensuring seamless functionality and data accuracy. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to collaborate with medical professionals while addressing technical challenges in healthcare imaging environments.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and maintain X-ray and imaging systems to ensure continuous operation and data integrity.
  • Provide technical support for InteleShare and VXvue portals, including clinic setup, gateway management, and image transmission.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and technology professionals to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve imaging-related tickets, escalating issues to the help desk when required.
  • Perform cleanup and maintenance tasks within the InteleShare portal.
  • Travel approximately 40% of the time to address complex issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and practices for medical imaging technologies.
  • Facilitate communication and training for medical staff to improve system usage and understanding.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a PACS Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using and supporting InteleShare and VXvue portals.
  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging technologies, including X-ray systems.
  • Networking experience; certifications such as A+ or Network+ are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with PC desktop hardware, Active Directory, and Windows 10.
  • Expertise in desktop imaging and workstation support.
  • Ability to work effectively in hybrid settings, involving onsite and remote work, with travel as needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach to technical challenges.
