ABOUT US We are a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Largo, FL looking for a PRN PACU RN to join our team. DUTIES * Perform an appropriate post-operative assessment of the patient as indicated by their procedure and physician orders. * Provide safe, individualized nursing care during the recovery period for each patient. * Administer medications and perform documentation in accordance with physician orders and clinical policies. * Provide appropriate discharge education and guidelines to patients and their families. REQUIREMENTS * RN license in the state of Florida. * Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse. * BLS and ACLS certification. * Previous PACU experience required. * Availability of shifts will vary; afternoon and Friday availability is highly desired. SKILLS * Ability to collaborate and work as a team with staff, physicians, and other allied health professionals. * Strong clinical and assessment skills. * Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. * Effective communication skills with patients and family members. * Works well in a fast-paced environment. ```
