Our expanding therapy team is seeking a band 5 Paediatric Physiotherapist to support and work with our paediatric physiotherapy team here at Linden Lodge.
Linden Lodge School is a leading provider of education for children and young people aged 2 – 19 years with profound and multiple learning difficulties and sensory impairment, including deaf-blindness, physical disability, and complex medical needs.
We have the opportunity for a Band 5 Paediatric Physiotherapist, passionate developing in this specialist area, to join our team within the Special School setting.
Our ideal candidate will be organized and proactive to meet the needs of a variety of students within the school.
A good foundation of clinical knowledge and experience in paediatric care; gained within a hospital or community setting, is essential for this role.
You will be working with students with a range of sensory needs so a willingness and interest in learning and developing skills within this area are key requirements of the postholder.
You’ll be working with a team supportive of colleagues committed to providing high quality therapy. We will support your development through a commitment to CPD and a protected training budget. The pay and conditions offered reflect NHS Agenda for Change & you can continue with your or start an NHS Pension fund within this post.
Due to working in a school environment the working pattern reflects the school year with term time working, yet with 3 weeks to be worked within the 10 weeks of school holidays at a time that suits yourself and the service. To support flexibility of working, 10 days annual leave can also be taken within term time, yet the days would be worked back during the holidays.
