Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking 4 dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Paediatric Emergency Department (ED) team as Band 7 Clinical Senior Charge Nurses/Sisters. Role and Responsibilities: As a Band 7 Clinical Senior Charge Nurse/Sister, you will provide high-quality care in our busy and fast-paced department. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work and support staff in all areas of the Paediatric ED, including:
You will be supported by a team leader, Modern Matron, and Nurse Consultant in Emergency Care. The role includes developing clinical skills through nurse-led discharge from the ED, providing medications via Patient Group Directives, plastering and suturing, requesting x-rays from triage, and cannulation of paediatric patients. Your personal development will be supported through clinical supervision with the Paediatric ED Matron and Lead Nurse.
Management and Leadership Development: You will have the opportunity to line manage staff and develop your management skills through Trust-led leadership programmes.
