Responsibilities

We are looking for a Grade 1 or 2 Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team. The role includes a mix of clinic-based and community-based appointments. If a Grade 2 if appointed, the role would also include clinical education, providing 1:1 mentoring sessions to less experienced Physiotherapists in our team.
Yarraville clinic caseload
The Yarraville clinic caseload is varied and requires the skill set of a Paediatric Physiotherapist with solid experience (see details below). The caseload includes neurodevelopmental assessment of infants and young children, common newborn concerns e.g., torticollis, plagiocephaly and concerns about delayed gross motor development, orthopedic post operative rehab, gait concerns, and screening for conditions such as Developmental Coordination Disorder, neuromuscular conditions and other conditions affecting motor development.
Home/community caseload overview
Most of the children accessing our mobile service have developmental delays or diagnosed disabilities with NDIS funding. The caseload is varied, and includes babies, preschoolers & school-aged children with neurological, genetic, neuromuscular, complex medical, orthopedic and neurodivergent conditions.
A large portion of the children we work with have neurodevelopmental or neuromuscular conditions, so past experience working in these areas will be highly regarded, along with experience working in both hospital and community Physiotherapy settings.
Working in our team would give you the opportunity to broaden your experience through exposure to a diverse caseload.
