Position: Consultant Paediatrician – Regional Western Australia
We are currently partnering with Western Australia Country Health to assist in the recruitment of Consultant Paediatricians for various regional locations across Western Australia.
This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified paediatricians looking to make a meaningful impact in regional healthcare while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of living in these vibrant areas. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Specialist registration with AHPRA
  • Doctors assesed by RACP are welcome to apply !
  • Experience in general paediatrics, neonatal care, and developmental paediatrics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • A passion for teaching and mentoring junior staff.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a regional setting.

Responsibilities

As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will provide high-quality paediatric care across a range of regional hospitals, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. The role involves working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver care across general paediatrics, neonatal care, and developmental paediatrics.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, including trainees, registrars, residents, and junior medical officers, and contribute to clinical governance and policy development within the department.
Our priority is for general paediatricians with an interest in developmental paediatrics to expand services in these high-demand areas, especially as we grow our developmental paediatric services.
