Candidates will be updated on application status via email. What does the job look like?   * Sorts and shelves materials accurately and quickly. Blocks and shifts materials as needed. * Maintains shelves in call number/alphabetical order (shelf reading). * Organizes/sorts carts accurately. * Places hold items on shelf for patrons.  * Reports status of collection in a timely manner. Responds to and remedies deficiencies in the collection. Verifies the status of materials with RFID scanner.  * Maintains all public areas utilized by patrons. * Demonstrates effective organizational and time management skills. * Provides additional help where needed to library patrons or staff. * Able to work the normally scheduled work time for this position. * Able to cope with daily job-related stress.   Minimum Job Requirements    * Some high school education is required.    * Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds, crouching, and bending. May occasionally have to lift more than 20 pounds. This is a non-benefited position, paid hourly. A page may work day, evening, and/or weekend shifts up to 19 hours per week. Responsibilities
The Page is responsible for accurately sorting and shelving library materials and maintaining the order of the collection. They also manage hold items and ensure public areas are well-maintained for patrons.
