JOB SUMMARY

The Paid Ads Specialist, SEM, will lead the planning and execution of paid search campaigns across platforms like Google, Bing, and Amazon. Focused on search advertising, this role involves optimizing performance, managing budgets,A/B testing and understanding the competitive landscape to drive results. You will deliver data-driven insights to accelerate the growth of our digital advertising initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, you will work closely with the eCommerce, Creative, and Brand Marketing teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns for D2C brands, with a proven track record of driving measurable results.
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing Google accounts with substantial budgets.
  • Proficient in scaling, optimizing, measuring, and reporting on campaign performance.
  • Deep understanding of the technology that fuels each ad platform.
  • In-platform experience with Google, Bing and Amazon.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in GA4 and Shopify.
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Proficient in interpreting metrics influencing SEM performance, demonstrating a robust capability to derive strategic insights and actionable items through in-depth data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the different parts of the advertising funnel and what type of content is most suitable for each. Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns, assign and achieve relevant KPIs for each campaign objective (ROAS, CVR, CAC, CPC, CTR) across acquisition and retention tactics. Drive analysis on Keyword insights & opportunities for our product catalogue and brand within the competitive landscape.
  • Manage and allocate budgets effectively across different advertising campaigns and placements to maximize return on investment.
  • Understand attribution and thoroughly analyze the different touch points with the correct context to drive maximum efficiency for each channel in our advertising ecosystem.
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to continuously improve ad performance, landing pages, campaign objectives, etc.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the campaign results, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy that resonates with the target audience and aligns with the brand messaging. Report on creative insights to help refine the ad creative pipeline.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in paid advertising to ensure our campaigns remain innovative and effective. Recommend new channels to test.
