Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Extensive experience working within a similar role.
  • Able to demonstrate strong experience in cross-channel media management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of main digital platforms as well as grasp of media trading mechanisms
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external media stakeholders and vendors effectively.
  • Strong, day to day understanding of network media agency landscape and management
  • Organised and able to develop and implement process and rigour
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of how Paid Media fits into a broadcaster like ITV’s overall marketing and media strategies
  • A basic understanding and literacy in data management across adtech/martech environments (Development and training available in this area to expand knowledge)
Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Head of Paid Media in the day to day running and management of our paid media budgets
  • Being the ‘go-to’ for media agency queries and coordinating day to day agency management
  • Media partner & vendor management of third parties such as media owners, barter agencies and contra partners
  • Supporting and driving initiatives such as our responsible media framework, media efficiency, testing, channel diversification, and brand safety through our agency partners
  • Running and delivering day to day media financial management such as raising POs, invoicing and reconciliations
  • Supporting and working closely with the Media Strategy team and being close to campaign planning and activation, attending campaign briefings, responses and PCAs, whilst representing paid media
  • Using multichannel media knowledge to input into best in class media schedules, agency campaign goal setting, KPIs and PCAs
  • Supporting and working closely with the Head of Campaign Media (Paid & TV) with contract management, financial auditing and media auditing
  • Supporting in the development and deployment of any Adtech discussions and projects whilst working alongside the Martech Lead
  • Supporting data activations and being the contact point for the agency data requirements and discussions
  • Pushing forward, working alongside our agency, and being an advocate for overarching media agendas such as our Responsible Media Framework, and Media Efficiency objectives
  • Advantageous - to be able to input and steer on media quality across digital channels (social, programmatic, search), making suggestions and recommendations on bidding techniques, campaign set up and optimisation, ideally in-platform experience with key media vendors
  • A basic-intermediate ‘hands-in-platform’ knowledge and experience of digital platforms would be highly desirable
