No one likes to spend their time documenting mileage — so we try to remove this tedious work and make our customers’ work-life simpler by saving them time and money.
We’re currently 35 people working across design, mobile and web development, marketing, and customer success in close collaboration.
The opportunity
Paid user acquisition is a large part of our business. Google Search has grown significantly over the last year and there is much more potential to unlock across all stages of the customer journey and in multiple segments (both B2C and B2B).
We have an established presence in English-speaking markets and growing traction globally which you will be a part of accelerating. You’ll help expand our footprint, improve processes and performance, and refine how we use data to optimize campaigns.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of our Google Ads account, initially working primarily on search campaigns, and later taking part in improving our entire paid advertising efforts. Additionally, since a large part of our users find our mobile apps first, you’re afforded the opportunity to gain experience with mobile app marketing, guided by our experienced Head of Paid, Klaus.
The role
You’ll be joining our paid advertising team (3 full-time employees) that is part of a larger marketing department. The team currently consists of a manager, another paid specialist and a designer. You’ll be working from our office in Copenhagen in a hybrid work environment (work from home some of the time plus flexible hours).
Working with the team, you will expand our paid advertising. Your main responsibility will be to manage our Google search campaigns and streamline and expand our already substantial search campaigns. This includes optimizing campaign/ad group/keyword structures, constantly testing and expanding our search presence across the entire funnel and across all markets, in both English and non-English markets.
In time you will take ownership of other campaign types in the account, such as Google App Ads, Display and YouTube, and ultimately take full strategic and operational responsibility for the account.
This is not a data analyst role, but the role benefits a lot from making use of our copious amounts of data: Getting more data into the account to better understand performance, visualising data in Looker Studio, and working with our developers and data analysts to ensure that data is accessible and used in the most effective way.
In Driversnote we work in cross-functional 8 week projects (called cycles). During these, we develop and test new initiatives, both marketing-only and company-wide. You will participate in some of these projects, and will need to juggle contributing to projects with getting your recurring operational tasks done.
