Sydney | Remote-first | Quarterly team offsites This isn’t your standard paid social role. We’re partnering with a fast-growing performance agency that’s rethinking how modern acquisition works. Their belief is simple: the future of performance marketing sits at the intersection of creative systems, automation, AI and sharp strategic thinking, not just media buying. They’re now looking for a Paid Social Lead to help shape that future. This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead paid social strategy across a portfolio of ambitious brands, while helping build smarter systems, better processes and a more scalable way of working. You’ll work closely with founders, influence the agency’s direction and play a key role in evolving how creative-led acquisition is delivered. What you’ll be doing Leading paid social strategy across a portfolio of growth-focused clients Managing and optimising campaigns primarily across Meta, with exposure to TikTok and emerging channels Turning business problems into clear acquisition strategies backed by data and insights Diagnosing performance issues and identifying growth opportunities before clients do Building scalable systems and improving operational workflows across paid social Partnering with creative teams to develop high-performing ad concepts, briefs and testing frameworks Designing and executing structured testing strategies across audiences, creatives and campaign structures Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, confidently presenting insights, recommendations and performance narratives Helping shape the agency’s approach to AI, creative velocity and modern acquisition strategy What they’re looking for Strong hands-on paid social experience within an agency environment Deep expertise across Meta Ads Manager and performance acquisition strategy Someone commercially minded who understands the relationship between spend, profitability and business outcomes A systems thinker who enjoys improving processes and building smarter ways of working Confident client communication and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical capability with the ability to connect platform metrics back to commercial impact Experience briefing creative or working closely with creative teams Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment Bonus points for experience within eCommerce, subscription or high-growth consumer brands Why this role stands out Genuine opportunity to shape the future direction of the agency Work directly with founders and influence how the paid social function evolves Remote-first culture with flexibility and autonomy built in Exposure to cutting-edge AI tools and creative-led acquisition strategies Sophisticated clients who value strategic thinking over vanity metrics Quarterly team gatherings and a highly collaborative environment A role designed for someone who wants ownership, not micromanagement Salary $120,000 base salary, with flexibility for the right person.
