Description
Avenue Z is seeking a Paid Social Specialist with at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience to join our growing Paid Media team. This is a dynamic, mid-level role for a marketer who is comfortable managing multi-channel paid social campaigns and is ready to take on increased strategic ownership. As a Paid Social Specialist, you will independently manage campaigns from planning through execution and reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver outstanding results for clients across diverse industries. Key Responsibilities Plan, execute, and optimize full-funnel paid social campaigns across platforms, including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and other emerging channels. Develop targeting strategies based on data insights and audience research to reach the right customer segments and drive results across awareness, engagement, and conversion goals. Lead performance analysis using tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Shopify, Looker Studio and Google Analytics to uncover trends and provide proactive campaign optimizations and insights. Partner with creative teams to concept and develop ad content that aligns with brand messaging and performance objectives, offering input grounded in platform-specific best practices. Stay up-to-date with platform innovations, policy changes, and algorithm shifts to keep campaigns effective and competitive. Create and present campaign reports that include strategic insights, performance data, and optimization recommendations to both internal stakeholders and clients. Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute ideas for innovative, data-backed campaign strategies. Help manage campaign budgets, pacing, and projections to ensure efficient media spend and alignment with client goals. Support junior team members and share knowledge to elevate overall team capability. Qualifications A minimum of 2–3 years of experience managing paid social campaigns in an agency or in-house environment, with a clear track record of campaign ownership and optimization. Deep understanding of the paid social landscape and proficiency in tools such as Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and/or TikTok Ads Manager. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret performance trends, and act on insights to improve KPIs. Familiarity with Google Analytics and UTM parameters for tracking and attribution. Strong understanding of creative best practices and how to collaborate with designers and content producers to create high-performing ads. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously. Strong verbal and written communication skills with client-facing experience preferred. Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Teamwork). Experience with creative tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Figma) is a plus.
