Description
MPS Group, Inc., is seeking a Paint Booth Cleaner Supervisor to join our team at the GM Factory Zero facility located in Detroit, MI. This individual is responsible for the safety of personnel and subcontractors, the quality of work, managing routine sanitation/janitorial cleaning and out-of-scope industrial cleaning operations at host facility.   Shift Details: Shift: 2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Sunday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Responsibilities and Job Duties: * Develop TIS’ and reviews these safety documents with the crew routinely. This involves evaluating the safety hazards on the job and determining and enforcing the precautions, procedures and PPE needed. * Evaluate and counsels' employees on quality and safety. * Provide direction, equipment, small tools, materials and supplies to support the crew. * Act as a customer/client liaison. * Prepare and submits job reports as directed by the Site Manager, Director and/or Customer. * Make recommendations on equipment purchases, personnel needs, equipment maintenance, etc. * Receive and stow materials and supplies received. * Inspect equipment and small tools to ensure in proper working condition and red tag and pulls out of service items that are damaged, broken or malfunctioning. * Conduct site inspections and Safety Tours: Mod Audits, Prime Booth Audits, Conveyor Audits, etc. Requirements and Qualifications: * 1 year of supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. * High School Diploma or GED. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to pass a background check. * Ability to pass a drug test and physical.
Responsibilities
The supervisor is responsible for managing routine and industrial cleaning operations while ensuring the safety and quality of work performed by the crew. They act as a client liaison, provide necessary equipment and supplies, and conduct regular site safety audits.
