Description
Feasibility Development and/or Program Launch for new vehicles in support of SQDCME objectives Support minor launch and current production programs Design and Develop Paint Tooling for new vehicles Provide paint expertise to other Subsystems including Product Development, Assembly Plants and Paint Forward Model Perform Assembly Plant Health Assessments with resolution follow up including monitoring QOS/Control Plan items Utilize DMAIC work methods to improve cost/quality of vehicle lines Work with Assembly Plants to improve cost/quality Manage GSPAS processes and all MCR/CR actions Implement robust designs per Paint SDS/MDS and Lessons Learned Established and active employee resource groups Minimum Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline 10+ years' experience in Paint Process & Facilities Assembly Plant experience preferred, but not required Knowledge of the GPDS Design/Launch timing Minimum Greenbelt certified w/demonstrated problem solving skills Knowledge Microsoft Office Toolset Ability to travel extensively Strong Communication & Presentation Skills Requires frequent reporting to Senior Management on Program Ability to work and show leadership under high stress levels and within team environment. Self motivated with forward thinking
