Description

This position is based at our Airdrie, AB facility. Perform daily chemical testing, environmental tank cleaning and chemical handling as required. Operate the burn off oven system. Perform other duties as required. High school diploma/GED or equivalent from an accredited institution. At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working in a team environment. Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. 2 years' experience working on an industrial paint line. Ability to cross train and continuously learn. Effective time management and prioritization skills. Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with machines. Ability to recognize quality issues and make judgements. Position Criteria: Lifting and occasional heavy lifting/maneuvering up to 50 lbs with assistance or using lifting device. Continuous standing, reaching. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Maintain a positive commitment to the safety of self and others. Strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills.
