Paint Line Product Handler | $18–$21/hr | 4-Day Work Week PV Finishing (Owen Industries) – Carter Lake, IA (Near Downtown Omaha) | Mon–Thu, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Be the Finishing Touch That Sets Us Apart. We're looking for a Paint Line Product Handler who takes pride in precision, moves with purpose, and understands that the final product is only as good as the care put into it. This is a hands-on, active role on a 4-day work week with a 3-day weekend. Occasional OT on Fridays as workload permits. The Details * Starting pay: $18.00–$21.00/hr depending on experience * Hours: Mon–Thu, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM * Schedule: 4-day work week — 3-day weekends What You'll Do * Hang and unhang parts with care and precision, following the Paint System Tech's workflow and sequence * Ensure proper spacing and positioning of parts on the line to guarantee even, consistent coating coverage * Inspect each piece for quality issues — light spots, drips, coating inconsistencies — and flag anything that doesn't meet our standards * Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe while contributing to an efficient, high-output production line * Support the overall powder coating process and assist the team where needed to keep production on schedule What We're Looking For * Strength and stamina — able to lift and move heavy materials safely and repeatedly throughout the shift * A sharp eye for detail and a genuine drive for quality in everything you do * Reliable, focused, and able to maintain a steady pace in a fast-moving production environment * Powder coating experience is a plus — but not required, we'll train the right candidate * Previous experience in manufacturing or a hands-on production role is helpful * Safety-conscious and committed to following procedures What's In It For You ✅ $18–$21/hr depending on experience ✅ 4-day work week — Mon through Thu ✅ 3-day weekends — most weekends ✅ Health, Dental & Vision insurance ✅ Life/AD&D and Disability coverage ✅ 401(k) with company match ✅ PTO and paid holidays — accrual begins immediately ✅ Wellness program with premium incentives ✅ Opportunities for growth and advancement within Owen Industries ✅ A supportive environment that values your effort and ideas Benefits begin the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment.
