What we offer: Full complement of health insurance benefits Paid Time Off immediately (12, 16, 20 days annually) Paid Holidays Paid Parental Leave 401(k) with Company match Paid Volunteer/Service Day Highly competitive pay plan Responsibilities: Wash, clean, and degrease vehicles prior to sanding and painting Sand vehicle surfaces using hand and power tools to create proper adhesion Mask and tape areas not to be painted (windows, trim, lights, etc.) Mix primers and apply primer or sealer as directed Perform minor body filler work and spot repairs when needed Inspect surfaces for defects and correct imperfections before paint Move vehicles safely in and out of the paint booth Maintain a clean and organized prep and paint area Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE Assist painters as needed during the painting process Qualifications: Previous experience in an auto body or paint prep role preferred Knowledge of sanding techniques, masking, and surface preparation Ability to use hand tools, power sanders, and spray equipmen Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods We welcome all replies in strict confidence. Responsibilities
The Paint Prepper is responsible for preparing vehicles by washing, cleaning, degreasing, sanding surfaces, and masking areas not to be painted. This role also involves mixing primers, applying sealers, performing minor body filler work, and ensuring surfaces are defect-free before painting.
