EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in paint or coatings.
  • Familiarity with operating machinery and equipment related to paint production.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and formulas accurately.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and weighing ingredients.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing setting.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
Responsibilities
  • Produce finished products following formula and procedure
  • Filter and pump paint from mixing vessel as required
  • Fill paint into appropriate containers as per the batch ticket
  • Take a sample of the approved batch for retain
  • Clean mixers, mills, hoses, pumps, and mixing vessels as required to ensure performance
  • Maintain working area in good housekeeping condition
  • Participate in physical inventory
  • Notify supervisor of any problems
  • Assure raw material availability prior to starting production
  • Use material handling equipment to gather the materials required for the batch
  • Weigh the ingredients required for the batch as indicated on the Production Order and pour the specified amounts into the mixing vessel. Write the necessary information on the batch ticket
  • Mix raw materials by following the mixing instructions on the batch ticket
