What We’re Looking For: You have direct manufacturing experience; experience with powder coat paint systems is even better! You have leadership experience and the ability to create a team first mindset in your area. You are comfortable working with Plant Leadership to execute and achieve the goals for your department. You keep safety a top priority and make sure your team understands and follows proper procedures and techniques. You are an effective communicator who likes working with a diverse team. You are a problem solver who enjoys working with others. Tasks/Responsibilities: Executing the Production Plan set by Plant Leadership Interpreting standard production drawings and job specifications to ensure your team executes builds successfully Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and quality of output Trouble shoot repairs needed for equipment and/or defective materials Manage safety of all employees and machine/tool usage Review and approve weekly timecards and manage the team's schedule/time off requests Train and develop your team members Maintain a clean and orderly work area Focus on building products Requirements At least five years of management experience in a manufacturing setting Experience working on a powder coat paint line Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret blueprints Proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery Familiarity with basic math and measurements Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time Comfortable on a forklift and using pallet jacks High school diploma or equivalent Note: This job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change or modification as needed.
