JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and methods, with experience in both residential and commercial projects. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in construction painting, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe handling of materials at heights or in difficult-to-reach areas.
• Strong carpentry skills are a plus for performing minor repairs before painting work begins.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is essential for successful project completion.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with team members and clients alike.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Perform restoration work on existing structures as needed.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
• Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
