FIFO from Capital Cities | Paid Travel Time We’re seeking an experienced Paint & Blast Supervisor to lead a team at the Alcoa Portland Aluminium Smelter in Victoria. This is a key leadership role in a major remediation coating program, offering the chance to work with a global industry leader and deliver excellence on a high-profile project. What We Offer 4–6 months of work FIFO from capital cities Your Role As Supervisor, you’ll manage daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across all paint and blast activities. You’ll coordinate teams, monitor progress, and maintain compliance with strict safety standards. About You Cert III in Surface Preparation & Coating Applications (desirable) Proven experience supervising industrial blasting and painting teams Rope Access (L1–L3) tickets – highly regarded but not essential Work at Heights & Confined spaces certification (valid within 2 years) – mandatory Driver’s licence (preferred) Construction Industry Induction (White Card) – preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent time management and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively and independently About UGL UGL Pty Limited is a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services across sectors including rail, transport, oil & gas, power, renewables, and resources.
